What you can do here

File Tools is an independent project maintained in the SiteWorks repository. It offers free browser tools for image conversion, resizing and cropping; PDF text and Markdown extraction; and audio trimming and fades, transcription, MIDI editing and WAV synthesis.

Local by design

The conversion engines run in your browser. File contents are not sent to a conversion server. You choose what to open and download the results yourself. There is no account or saved conversion history.

Clear limits, useful results

PDF extraction needs a selectable text layer and does not perform OCR. Audio-to-MIDI works best with a clear, isolated instrument rather than a full mix. Image tools support still JPEG, PNG and WebP files. Each tool explains its limits before you start; always review important results.

Built with open-source components
