10 photos · 20 MiB each · 64 MiB total · 16M decoded pixels each

    Choose files to begin.

Make your iPhone photos easier to share

Convert HEVC-based still HEIC/HEIF images into JPEG without uploading your photos. A verified decoder downloads only when conversion starts.

    How to use this tool

    1. Choose up to 10 HEIC/HEIF files, each up to 20 MiB and 64 MiB total.
    2. Choose JPEG quality and a background for transparent pixels. Convert locally.
    3. Compare the converted images and download individual JPG files or a ZIP.

    A practical example

Convert a HEIC receipt into JPG for an importer that accepts JPEG. The output is a rendered photo, not a renamed HEIC.

    Frequently asked questions

Does this work in Chrome without native HEIC support?

Yes, supported files are decoded using a pinned libheif WebAssembly decoder. Only the decoder is downloaded; your photos are not uploaded.

What about Live Photos or multi-image files?

Only containers with exactly one decoded still image are supported. Multiple images are rejected rather than silently losing pages. Live Photo video, depth data and auxiliary metadata are not exported.

Does it retain HDR and location data?

Output is an 8-bit JPEG rendering. EXIF, GPS and original color profiles are not retained; HDR and colors may change. Review orientation and appearance.

    What are the limits?

10 files, 20 MiB each, 64 MiB total and 16 million decoded pixels per image. Invalid files and unsupported codecs are rejected. Conversion can be cancelled.
